Australian fest to host Kiarostami films

The 68th edition of the Sydney Film Festival in Australia has been set to review ten films by Iranian well-known director Abbas Kiarostami.

The festival will screen Kiarostami’s films during a program titled “The Long & Winding Road: The Films of Abbas Kiarostami”.

The films scheduled for screening are ‘And Life Goes on’, ‘Bread and Alley’, ‘Orderly or Disorderly’, ‘Close-Up’, ‘Taste of Cherry’, ‘Ten’, ‘Through the Olive Trees’, ‘The Traveler’, ‘The Wind Will Carry Us’, and ‘Where Is the Friend’s House?’.

According to the official website of the festival, “The world’s best new films come to Sydney this August for 12 days and nights of inspiring and entertaining premieres”.

The upcoming edition of the festival will be held on August 18-29, 2021.
